By fostering community partnerships, leveraging volunteer expertise, and expanding healthcare access, we are building networks of support that strengthen the resilience of our communities and improve health outcomes.
Training Medical Professionals in Low Resourced Settings
GHEP is dedicated to strengthening healthcare systems in low-resource settings by building capacity through medical education and training of healthcare professionals in pulmonary and critical care medicine, beginning with Ethiopia as a pilot location. Through partnerships with local institutions and international collaborators, GHEP aims to establish structured training pathways, mentorship opportunities, and continuing medical education initiatives. A long-term goal is to advance training in pulmonary procedures, with the aim of supporting the future development of interventional pulmonology expertise. With plans to expand globally, GHEP seeks to foster sustained mentorship and collaboration with academic institutions and hospitals in the United States and other countries, building a network of professionals committed to equitable, context-appropriate, and sustainable health education.
Resource Allocation for Essential Healthcare Support
GHEP is dedicated to improving healthcare access in Ethiopia by working toward the distribution of essential medical resources, strengthening healthcare infrastructure, and supporting critical care services. Through collaboration with hospitals, philanthropic organizations, and medical suppliers, we aim to enhance healthcare delivery in underserved communities. While our initial focus includes pulmonary and critical care, we are committed to fostering long-term, sustainable improvements that align with local healthcare needs.
